For our faces we can get face lifts. For weight loss we get body lifts etc. For boobs we get boob jobs. Pretty much we can can get something to fix everything.I cant seem to find anything for the lost of elasticity in our arms arms legs and in general our entire skin. But for this forum....Im talking arms.IM NOT TALKING ABOUT SAGGING ARMS...Im not talking about age spots. Both those concerns...

I had a full armlift 7/2/12, and yes, they look good, but they aren't as tight as I would have hoped and expected. My PS agreed that a revision would definitely help. I could have it done in his office for no fee, yes, being awake, or have it done in the surgery center and be knocked out, for 2K. It would take 2 days. Has anyone had an armlift revision in the office? What did you feel? how was...

Hi all! I am scheduled to have an extended tummy tuck in October and was planning on doing my arms at another time. I hate the idea of two separate recoveries, however, if I could get them done together. The assistant at my PS's office has had both and told me she wouldn't advise getting them done together, but her surgeries were 8 years ago. For those that had them...

So I am due this op mid January when we are in winter! The surgeon said I could walk around etc straight after surgery but I wanted to hear other people’s stories of their recovery and when they were walking out and about and exercising. I go to the gym 4/5 times a week, but obviously won’t be doing arm exercises for 4 weeks. Any advice on this and scar management/sleep? Many thanks everyone

I am having an arm lift the end of September 2022. I had a tummy tuck 6 years ago and we had a group for tummy tuckers having surgery around the same time. That group was so helpful to be a part of. I would love to start a group for those doing an arm lift this fall (or even 2022 in general). I realize it is a much less common procedures but even a small group would be great. Anybody interested?

I'm scheduled for An arm lift and full tummy tuck January 29 th . Time is flying by and I'm getting so nervous. Would feel so much better to hear I'm not the only stylist out here willing to take a risk of damaging my' tool of trade ' to rid of the bat wings . At this point I'm looking more like a flying squirrel. Just hoping things go well and after my 6 week recovery time I'm ready to go...

Going in for BR and upper arm lift next week. Have lost lots of weight and have a lot of hanging skin on arms. My arms were always big and I would never (NEVER) wear anything that did not cover my upper arms. Are you comfortable in sleeveless or shorter sleeves now?? I am so hoping I can at least show them under a sheer sleeve and maybe even something sleeveless and be comfortable. I don't...

I am wanting information on the different options for arm lifts before I make my decision on the type and doctor to perform my procedure. I have been watching a number of videos on-line and I am interested in communicating with others that might have information that might help me in my decision. Anyone that has information that might be helpful should please inbox me. I am willing...

I am 2 months post op and my upper arm is SMALLER than my lower arm. I look a bit like Popeye! I used a great board certified surgeon and I’m going to talk to her tomorrow, but pretty concerned I’ll never be able to wear short sleeved garments ever again!

I'm in my 60's .. very active .. no longer training for competition but avid paddler .. this year I noticed to my horror my upper arm crepey saggy blah blah as I leaned over to wipe off my board .. mortified ! The ocean is my life ... thank you

I had an arm lift on the 06/08/13, the procedure went fine and took two hours.  I woke up and couldn't move my right arm (the arm which had the IV in it).  The surgeon said feeling would be restored the following morning. The following morning came and no improvement so I went back to my surgeon who said I had a trapped nerve.  I understand the numbness can last for months,...

I had my brachioplasty, with liposuction, with dissolvable stitches, on 6/7/16. It's five weeks after and I have spitting stitches and some areas that are weeping and open-ish. The nurse at my PS says its normal, anyone else having this issue?  Also I'm still wearing compression in the form of Marena sleeves.

I just had brachioplasty surgery and I am very upset about the results. I did have extra skin but not an enormous amount like some patients that have had a large weight loss. I am only a day post OP but I am very disappointed to see some loose skin. I thought that it would be  very tight and difficult to move but it is not. My surgeon says that it is still swollen but it looks like flabby...

I had arm lift surgery on Feb 5,. I wore ace bandages for the first 2 weeks and am ow wearing compression sleeves which I feel off-road much more even support. How long does one need to continue wearing them?

Day 1-3 you need help with toilet paper, dressing. Day 7 can fix an easy meal. Day 14-20 go back to a desk job. Day 30 back to all activities. Comfort : Day 1-21 get a box of non sterile rolled gauze bandages. Scrunch up & put in arm pits under a long sleeve jersey to hold in place. Keeps pits dry because incisions weep & you sweat. Scrars: Start Kel-o-cote from Amazon week 6. Put on a thin...

I had Brachioplasty last Thursday, July 14th. I had huge arms following 152lb weight loss and my arms bothered me the most. I found an excellent plastic surgeon here in WI and immediately decided I was moving forward. She was able to get me in quickly because most don't do this surgery in the summer time.I woke up after my surgery and my arms of course were in their compression garments. They...

I received my quotes and ready to start planning. I would like to make my deposit soon. If anyone is interested please let me know. I have a Dominican friend who is thinking about going for support but if she is unable I don’t want to be alone there for 10 days.
