its been 4 months. the arms look great but they are still swollen and tender to the touch. i can feel when they are swelling and getting tight. especially with temperature change. any sugestions or coments are appreciated. thank you Update: Dr. Neinstein, you said prolonged swelling could be a sign of other things. What do you mean by this?What else could the problem be?
I had extensive brachioplasty 15 weeks ago. I have worn my compression garments continuosly. I have even started working out with a personal trainer which has helped a tiny bit. What else can I do? I'm only 25 lbs over weight which I'm working on losing but, I fear with weight loss it will worsen. Now I have a horrible scar and still have bat wings.
Dear Drs Ive had an arm lift on January 10 2019 The scars looks nice from the arm till half the way down, then the scars starts widening ? Why is that? Plus on my left arm the scar has a lump, I am not an expert but I dont think its Keloid formation. My Dr said that hes gonna do a scar revision after 4 sessions of laser therapy. Is there a reason behind this? Why laser then scar revision not vice versa? Will the scar widen one more time after the scar revision? Thanks a lot
I lost over 200 lbs in a 6 year span, when loosing the weight my arms and upper thighs always held on to a little more fat. I feel even after the arm lift, in photos I still look like I weigh 300 lbs which Im nowhere close to. Is there any way to even them out and get rid of the fat rolls? Ive been told you cant lipo the tops of the arms but I feel like my whole arm needs to have lipo. Please help, thanks
3 lbs of skin was taken off my left arm and 2 off my right. Right arm has one band, left arm has 2. Surgeon will do more lipo on both. Especially on upper left and near elbows. The bands hurt. I am 4 months post op. Still wear compressions. He thinks on the smaller bands he can cut them loose with tiny incisions. But the larger upper left one would probably need a z plasty. Can't find info online to this specifically. more than one z? What is recovery like ? Pain? See him again in a month.
I workout everyday 2x including weight training. I am working out my triceps however it really doesn't look like I had a procedure other than the scars. Some of the excess skin was removed however I still see alot of sagging (bat wings). I did not have lipo as he said I didn't need it. How should I address this?
I am 4 months post from my arm reduction. The scar line and surrounding tissue has been numb until about two weeks ago. Now I have sharp pain and tingals in my upper under arm. Is this normal? Are the nerves just waking?
