Director of Account Management

In this high-impact role, the Director of Account Management will be responsible for increasing revenue growth and engagement to meet company objectives through effective team building, business strategy and operational execution.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a client success strategy to achieve growth, engagement and retention targets
  • Build and manage a team of Account Managers to drive revenue and exceed growth and engagement targets beyond initial contract activation
  • Work closely with other sales leadership and teams to collaborate and align messaging, expectations and operations
  • Ensure Account Managers are educating and promoting products and services efficiently and effectively
  • Encourage, support and develop team, monitoring their success (KPIs) and conducting regular performance reviews

Qualifications and Qualities:

  • 7+ years proven success in building and managing account management teams and strategies with an emphasis in revenue growth and retention, preferably in a Saas model
  • Ability to lead, train and measure success against goals, and challenge team members in an honest, open and constructive style
  • Highly driven individual with strong desire to achieve top results and break through barriers, determined to adapt quickly and comfortable with some ambiguity
  • Ability to analyze data, discover compelling insights and develop action plans to achieve goals.  
  • Demonstrated success using solid oral and written communication and presentation skills to achieve account and sales results
  • Proficient to advanced computer skills required, including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Salesforce.com experience highly preferred
  • Advertising or SEM/SEO sales background a plus
  • BA/BS required
