Treatment time for one body area (even a larger area like the abdomen) is 20 minutes.

The treatment area is numbed with topical anesthetic, and you’ll be given a pair of protective glasses to wear. 

Your provider will use the UltraSpeed handpiece to pulse infrared light over the treatment areas. Most patients say it feels like a warm massage, but your provider will need to monitor your skin temperature to avoid burning and skin injury. 

For skin tightening, its unipolar RF energy heats the tissue just below the surface. This causes existing collagen fibers to shrink and reduces skin laxity, while stimulating new collagen growth for smoother, firmer skin over time. 

For body contouring and cellulite reduction, US and RF energy (called shear wave vibrations) penetrate deep into adipose tissue to target fat cells, without damaging the surrounding tissue. In a process similar to ultrasonic cavitation, these vibrations gradually break down the fat cell membranes and stored fat is released through the lymphatic system. 

Specialized applicators make it possible to treat small areas of the face, like a double chin, as well as larger body areas with more significant fat deposits, such as the back, love handles, belly, butt, and thighs. 

For skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, microplasma RF energy heats the deeper layers of skin while minimally ablating the surface (meaning it removes the outer, damaged cells), creating thousands of microinjuries that trigger new collagen production. This reduces the appearance of fine lines, stretch marks, scars, melasma, and hyperpigmentation, while smoothing the skin's texture.

Once the area has been treated, the device soothes your skin with cool air. 

Doctors typically suggest a series of four to six sessions, every two weeks, to see optimal results. To maintain them, you’ll likely need an annual follow-up treatment.
