Hi. I am a fair skinned female. I have an extremely stubborn sunspot on the front of my cheek. I have had multiple lasers done which include the Alexandrite and Pico laser. The spot will not go away. II will tell you that it it not super dark. II was told that lighter spots are harder to get rid of. I wear spf of 50 with zinc 365 days a year. Any suggestions?
Hi I had filler done in my marionette lines 2 years ago and I bruised very badly and she ended up dissolving with hyaluronidase. I am now left with this mark which I cant get rid of and is very upsetting, Ive read it could be hemosiderin staining and Q switch laser may help. I've also tried alpha arbutin to lighten but that didnt work. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks
In my 30's ive developed flat pinprick dots like cherry angiomas all over my body, hard to capture with a photo but it looks like red sand dusted all over my skin when you look close. I curse use of tanning beds. I can't find a name for this as it doesnt look the same as petichiae, so I would love to know a name and also what treatments would help this, since it's a different situation than classic cherry angioma removal where they are few and far between.
I'd like to speed up my surgical scar healing and have an appt for YAG Erbium resurfacing. The scar still has some redness and I've been advised by a dermatologist to wait until the redness completely resolves. I know CO2 ablative laser could make it look worse if there is still PIE redness, but is this also the case with Erbium fractional laser? As the scar is facial I want it to resolve asap as I'm very self conscious about it, but I also don't want to make it worse.
I've had laser hair removal from that area but I need to now remove the left over dark spots on my stomach from razor shaving over the years in that area. What is best way to have these dark spots removed for my skin tone?
I had the Erbium Yag Laser two years (2/2020) ago and PIH developed under / around my eyes, on my forehead and on my jawline one week after I was lasered. Exactly where it is today. I have used Triluma, hydroquinone, steroids and retionds. I have had two Halos, two micropeel lasers, four PicoSure treatments and two Perfect Peels. Nothing fully gets rid of it or it comes back. I most recently tried two Enlighten peels starting in December 2021 with strict 4% hydroquinone, steroid and retinol use for three months. The pictures are from today while I'm still following this regimen. I still have pigment. I finally saw my dermatologist after the plastic surgeon couldn't fix it and he thinks it's melasma that just happened to start at the exact same time as when I had the Erbium Yag two years ago and started me on oral Tranexamic Acid six weeks ago. I just want it to go away. What will make this fully go away? Is this permanent? What else can I do?
I have already inquired about my problem. I am now attempting to just remove the Tyndall effect, or Hemosidrin blue shading. Is there a laser that can remove this, that's 6 yrs old, that came about 3 yrs after silicone sas placed. I just want the blue removed.
Ive had the Nd:YAG treatment for dark spots before, and the pigment seemed like it was removed through the skins surface as a scab. However, I recently got the procedure done again and the dark spot became slightly darker after treatment and there was the faintest hint of crusting, but it never scabbed (I believe my derm used very conservative settings). Could the pigment still be in the process of being cleared even if not through the skins surface (perhaps by the immune system instead)?
Im 42 years old healthy female with a venous lake on my lip. Its been there for about two years. Two months ago I had a Lamprobe (RF) treatment that didnt do anything. It scanned over then came back harder and a bit more pronounced. Whats a recommended treatment for getting rid of it? How many treatments are typically needed? What is a reasonable cost for the procedure?
