Twenty four hours ago, I had Ng:Yag laser treatment only on the brown spots on my face (all over) and my skin looks HORRIBLE. I look like I have the measles, but the good news is that I'm not in pain or swollen. Am I going to be scarred? What can I do to make sure I don't scar? She only gave me a topical cream to apply twice a day. She is an MD and has been working with lasers for a long time - although she did burn my friend.
This was my 5th session and the tech increased the laser. My skin was very hot after and by the next day I noticed the burns. I was treating with aloe for 2 days until I could go back to the salon. I was given a thick white cream. She said it was a prescription cream, but never told me what it was called. I was told to use it twice a day for 2 days and then treat with aquaphor. I appreciate any help. The burns have been getting DARKER. Is this permanent? The burns are smooth to the touch.
I had this morning my brown spots remove with a laser call Q YAG V, six hours have past and my eyes are red and crying like crazy, and I can not stand it! I had the black googles on, but maybe didn't help. i have bad runny nose too, is anything I can do?
I am trying to ascertain whether the burns I was left with after my most recent appointment last week are normal. The practitioner kept the laser at the same level strength as previous sessions but while I have experienced minor scabbing before, I have never had anything to this extent. I am now left with scarring that I don't feel will go without further treatment. What could possible causes be such as make-up, skin type changing etc? Please get in touch with your thoughts.
