There is no metal per se in the breast implant. Although silicone which constitutes the outside shell of the saline implant, the silicone gel which constitutes the inside filler of the silicone gel implant, has platinum which is a metal which is used to cure or prelimerize [SP] or to make the silicone sticky. There's such a trace amount that it will not set off metal detectors. So don't worry, you don't need to carry your implant cards with you.
