I have many patients that come in after child birth wanting to restore
vaginal tightness, and it is a pretty straightforward safe surgery, which
most patients find they recover from more quickly than they thought they
would. And that is done under general anesthesia, by removing the excess
lining of the vaginal wall, and tightening the muscles underneath,
basically like we do in a tummy tuck. And all of the sutures dissolve, and
it takes about four to six weeks of downtime, but many patients find that
their experiences are restored to what they had before children.
