I don't think drinking a lot of water is going to make your skin hydrated. I've never seen that happen. What to eat is probably staying away from things that are not healthy like tobacco and having a normal, a good diet that contains a lot of antioxidants. That's a good thing to eat. But I don't necessarily believe in the theory where you should drink a lot of water, your skin is going to look hydrated. That doesn't happen usually.
I also don't believe in really washing your face with sink water is a good idea. I think that sometimes the cleanser is a much better way to clean the skin and sometimes even your night cream is a good thing.
