Hi, I'm Larry Schlesinger, and I'm a board-certified plastic surgeon from Honolulu, Hawaii. And the question of the day is, "What is the usual recovery time for a Mommy Makeover?"

The two basic elements to the Mommy Makeover are a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation. So, with those two, and only those two procedures, the normal recovery time for most women in their 30s is about five to seven days. They'll be back driving their car, they'll be back doing minimal, minimal house chores. Two weeks is a common time.

If you do more than those two procedures, or if you happen to be in your 40s or 50s, it takes about four or five weeks. If you're in your 60s, and you do a tummy tuck, liposuction, and labiaplasty, driving your car, almost everyone's back driving their car by three weeks. But do they feel comfortable, and are they comfortable with what they're doing? Normally not, if you're in your 60s. If you're in your 20s and 30s, and you're getting multiple procedures, surprisingly, people are doing many many of the normal day chores within five to six days, and they feel very comfortable with what's going on by two weeks.

Again, I'm Larry Schlesinger, and I'm a board-certified plastic surgeon from Honolulu, Hawaii. Thank you for your attention.
