I'm Dr. Gavin Sandercoe I'd like to spend a couple minutes talking about plastic surgery for males. There's a common misconception that plastic surgery is all about making women beautiful and that's not very true. Many men have got the same reasons and needs for plastic surgery as women do; the need to feel young, the need to get rid of parts of their body they don't like, just to feel great about themselves. We commonly see men that need, request the rhinoplasty or facelift or their eyelids addressed. There are specific things that are more common in men than females and it's much more common that a man needs their brow addressed. We're all, as guys, we've all got heavier brows than females and they all drop earlier than it does for women, especially the outer part of the brow.

Body contouring surgery for men is becoming increasingly popular as and it's following the boom in bariatric surgery as men are realizing that being overweight is not what they want and they lose their weight either through bariatric surgery or diet and exercise, they're left with skin faults that remind them of what they used to be like and they don't want to be reminded of that every day. Body contouring surgery is an increasing field for men and we're very happy to see men for any of those sorts of procedures. Additionally we're seeing a steady of stream of men that are coming through for anti-wrinkle injections and fillers; little tweaks just to make them look and feel a little bit younger. Call my staff at any stage to make an appointment to come and talk to me about what you think that you want to do to make you look and feel better.
