Can Juvederm be used for for under eye hollows or tear troughs? And the answer is no. The area under the skin, under the eyes is very thin and unforgiving. A hyaluronic acid filler there could cause something called Tyndalling, which is a bluish hue. Also, the area, because it is so thin, can bind to water causing nodules, or puffiness. We always resort to structural fat grafting as a first line of defense for under eye hollows.
