Hi. I'm Doctor Adam Oppenheimer and I'm a plastic surgeon in Melbourne, Florida.I think it's an incredibly exciting time to be a plastic surgeon and there's a lot of huge new technology updates in plastic surgery. The thing that I'm the most excited about of all is cellulaze. Cellulaze is a minimally invasive cellulite treatment that is FDA approved. The treatment itself actually involves an operation. There's a lot of cellulite procedures that are vacuum massage or surface treatments. This treatment actually requires the use of very small incisions to introduce a laser underneath the skin.

I think the reason this works is because it targets, with that laser, the three elements of cellulite. There's dimpling of the skin, there's extra pockets of fat, and there's thinness of the skin as well. So by using the laser, the laser actually can cut through the bands. Those tethering points or dimples that we see can melt the fat on the pockets of the fat, and can actually tighten the skin from underneath. There's been studies that show that the skin actually gets thicker after using the cellulaze laser treatment.

I think cellulite is very difficult for a lot of women, and there's not an easy way to fix cellulite otherwise. Diet and exercise, and being in great condition doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to get rid of your cellulite, and everyone has some trouble areas that I think can benefit from the cellulaze treatment.I'm very excited about it. Again, I'd love to see you in consultation. My name is Dr. Adam Oppenheimer in Melbourne, Florida. Thanks so much for watching.
