Respondent: The combination of B.B.L. with other procedures specifically procedures on the front. Now after a Brazilian Butt Lift, you obviously don't want to be sitting on your butt or sleeping on your back side for while for at least 30 days or so. You just don't want to put any pressure on that.

On the other hand, if you want to combine the operation with a tummy tuck or a breast lift or breast augmentation, you can't sleep on your front either. A lot of surgeons, especially in the early days of B.B.L.s where the procedure would take a long time, you don't want to combine the operation with another long procedure like a tummy tuck. So people generally didn't combine the operations.

On the other hand, for the last six or seven years, I've been combining the B.B.L. with front procedures. My patients have been doing fine sleeping on their sides. So what you do is you take a whole bunch of pillows, put them on the bed and then you're going to crawl in a fetal position. So you're not putting too much weight on your front, you're not putting too much weight on your back. You just alternate side to side. Again the only danger of sleeping on your side is if you sleep on the same side every night, the swelling will tend towards that side that's down. So you just alternate sleeping on one side and then the other. People do fine.

I do about 200 combination Brazilian Butt Lifts with other operations like tummy tucks and B.B.L.s and even rhinoplasties at the same time. You don't ruin the B.B.L. by combining with other operations. It certainly can be done. Obviously it depends on your physical condition, your health status and all that. We can do multiple procedures, even whole body, head to toe makeovers.

Interviewer: Great. Let's talk about the nose.
