Fillers are a fantastic treatment and we use a lot of fillers in our clinic, but they don't replace surgery. What happens is that each individual person needs an assessment and each individual person is different. It's not like other forms of treatment, like if you have a broken bone is one treatment. When you age, your face deflates like a balloon, so you do lose a bit of volume. It also drops and also your skin loses elastic tissue and changes color. Each of those different areas has to be addressed. When you inject a filler, it's like blowing up a balloon, it'll give you an immediate wow and really give you a good result. Same with Botox; but just because a little bit is good, too much is no good. Once you've blown that balloon up to how it should be, then you might need other modalities such as tightening or lifting rather than more fillers.
