The night and week before my peel I had used onexton and glycolic acid pads, as well as manually exfoliated my face. I got the peel this morning and already have a-few spots peeling as well as a-lot of itching. Do you think my skin is going to be okay with the peel?
I am a blonde with kinda fair skin and I'm on day 4 of my VI peel. I have been using my sunscreen and post peel cream but There are areas around my mouth and chin that has finished peeling and it has revealed skin underneath that is raw itchy and irritated in some spots. Are these areas where the peel went deeper than it should have, or could it be a possible infection? How can I safeguard myself from post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or an infection if this is the case?
They reviews I read were of them doing it themselves. Is that why it was bad for them if they did the peel themselves. I have sensitive skin always have to put lotion on my face. I just have a age spot trying to get rid of. Am I a good candidate?
I had a Vi peel 3 weeks ago. I peeled nicely and my skin was really shiny, smooth, and moist 7 days post peel but now my skin has become dry all over and it feels rough. My skin It also has a hot sensation all over it. It is also flaky. Is this normal and will it go away? I had a rhinoplasty and facial fat grafting the same day as the peel. I did not use any exfoliants on my skin over 2 weeks pre-peel. I am using sulfacetaminde sodium topical suspension at night for some breakouts I also got.
