I'm going to have fractional laser for a slightly indented and textured scar but doctor also wanna do v beam laser because he can see some pinkness by his goggle. I know v beam is good for red and raised scar but im wondering if it's proper for a indented scar. Doctor thinks reduce some redness will give it overall better result combine with fractional laser but I'm worried v beam will make indented scar more indented. So is the risk overriding the benefits since my redness is not bad anyway?
So far I've had two dermapen treatments why have failed in improving the discoloration within my scars so I plan on getting a laser afterward. Ignoring the fact that some of these are indentations and if my primary goal is to achieve even skin tone. What laser would be deemed best for me? My doctor suggested V-beam or E-matrix but I would like a second opinion. On a side note, if I also plan on getting chemical peels which one would be safest for my skintone TCA, Glycolic, Salicilyc or Vi Peels.
I have some red erythmatic macules from the inflammation left behind by acne. Some of which are indented and other are flat. That being said, my concern is not the indentations but more of the redness in them. I am planning on getting V-beam since I heard great things about it on here for redness. However, I read of something called the blanching test for PIE(applying pressure on the area to see if it changes color for a split second). My marks do not, should I still do V-beam?
Can they heal in time? Had vbeam done twice, once in june and once in october. He said the settings were moderate, 7 whatever you call it, joules? Well anyways I'm left with red marks that are slightly indented. I'll share some pics this time! I threw in some before pics as well.
I've had vbeam treatments for 2 years to treat rosacea redness with great results. Ive done about 5 per year. I'm 3 week post recent treatment and have noticed an indentation on one cheek. It's definitely new and seems to be getting more prominent each day. About the size of an eraser tip. Could this be damage from the laser? What other possibilities?
