This picture shows how my skin looks when flushed which happens daily. I've been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis, and perhaps rosacea but they're not sure. I go to UVB phototherapy right now but so far no results. Considering trying Vbeam, will it help? And why do I flush every night when I'm at home? Can SD cause flushings like this? I'm really confused on how to treat this.
IPL has helped me with flushing on the face, so I'm wondering if it would help with my ears, which often flush in the evening. It's pretty uncomfortable because it can get pretty hot. Would lasers help with this? Or should I just stick to putting an icepack on them when it happens?
I suffer from the neurogenic part of rosacea with facial flushing. Comes and goes throughout the day. I have heard mixed things on whether really can help reduce the flushing or if it just helps with the redness and broken vessels but people will always have triggers that make them flush.
I developed rosacea from overusing corticosteroids: acne rosacea and redness around my eyes and nose. I can not use AHA and retinol products now even though I could use it before. I did 2 v beam and 2 yag lasers within 2 months, but still have constant blushing and flushing. Is it too earlier to see the results or I should try something else? Oracea and finacea are not working for me. My dermatologist use settings such as 9.5 the first treatment and then 10.5 with no succsess even though my face was swallen for 1 week and also was more red for 2-3 days
I have rosacea and I do Vbeam and IPL on a regular basis to improve redness and flushing. I take Minocycline in between to help with bumps. I have now developed melasma around the eyes. I just got Vbeam 3 days ago and the patches of measma are darker. What can I do? I would like to reduce them. I started using Lytera from Skin medica. Thank you!
I model and I have very very mild type 1 rosacea. I don't really have persistent redness. I usually just flush every now and then. Some days I will have a very very light pink in my cheeks but nothing terrible. My dermatologist said the vbeam would help with my flushing. I am wondering if it is the right time to do the Vbeam or would it be too early to try it since I dont really have persistent redness? I was wondering if starting the laser early could prevent from redness becoming persistent?
Ive had one Fraxel Re:Store for the crepey skin Ive developed from what I believe is the flushing from Rosacea, my true question is does Rosacea cause skin creepiness? Is this the source as to why Ive developed such crepey skin? Does the intense flushing cause skin thinning? I clean and moisturize daily, Id just hate to feel Im wasting money on Fraxel treatments hoping its going to improve the quality of skin when actually its my rosacea thats preventing it from improving.
I have very pale skin with red flushing areas across my face, possibly (likely?) due to rosacea. I am having VBeam used to reduce the redness. I understand the laser only targets the red pigment, so would it be advisable that I instigate some flushing immediately before the procedure, in order to have more of the redness targeted?
I developed flushing after a 2 month round of prednisone. It's a side effect of the steroid that my dr said would go away after stopping. However, I stopped the meds about 10 months, but the flushing hasn't stopped. It spans over my face/neck/chest & is super hot/painful/distracting. I was told it's rosacea & so far I've gotten 2 laser treatments. I'm worried bc I've noticed the really hot feeling is super prominent along my jawbone. Can the laser treatment actually make the flushing worse?
I had 3 Vbeam treatments 3 weeks apart between each. The last one was 2 weeks ago. It's for Rosacea. I have not seen any results yet. The focus is on my nose it's always red. I take Minocycline and Imervectine also. My problem is i don't see results from Vbeam yet and since the last treatment it's even worse, i'm flushing everyday. Is it possible that it takes more time to see results?
