I have rosacea on my cheeks and I'm interested on doing a vbeam treatment with purpuric settings (meaning that I will bruise after the treatment). If the doctor hits all the cheek with the laser but not all bruises (based of pictures I won't have a huge bruise, I will have little ones) will that means that he only shot the laser where the bruises are? Will only the little area that has a bruise be treated or also the sorrounding area will be less red? I don't really understand how bruises work..
I had a v beam laser treatment a week ago on my face, the bruises are now fading and red but my skin in those areas is very dry and peeling off is this normal? I have avoided sun exposure and I am using subscreen during the day and a plane moisturizing cream at night
The bruising is almost all gone in all areas except the one under the eye and now it is raised or swollen. It was not before the vbeam. Is this common or could something have happened from the vbeam to the filler?
I had the Vbeam perfecta done 24 hours ago for diffuse redness and acne scarring and mild rosacea. The setting was 7 joules and the spot size my doctor told me was same used for port wine stains. I am unbelievably swollen and almost unrecognizable, however, this morning I woke up to see that the bruising was raised and now bumpy. I included pictures of it, it looks like just above the scarring the skin is raised with clear liquid. Is this normal??? Im panicking!!
Hi, I've been recommended Pulsed Dye Laser for my rosacea, but I'm unsure if I should go with the bruising (purpura) setting or not. I was told that the purpura setting is the equivalent of having 3 non- purpura sessions; is this accurate? Also, would roaccutane (isotretinoin) help with my rosacea in a low dosage?
I got a scar from a botched procedure 2 years ago and I've had around 7 Excel V treatments. It has helped me marginally, but I'm really fair skin and the redness from the scar is still quite dark. Do you think the VBeam might help? I've read the VBeam has settings where you can bruise the surface area for a stronger healing process. It seems the Excel V can't break down the blood vessels in my scar. Seeing if VBeam or a Q-switch laser could make a bigger impact on the redness. Thoughts?
I had v beam perfecta laser for spider veins on my nose, cheeks, and chin, the treatment was about 30 minutes by an aesthetician at my dermatologists office. She said I might have some bruising. This treatment was Friday. This is Sunday, 48 hours after treatment and I am so swollen! My face is enormous! When will this go away! I cannot leave my house! Of course their office is closed for the weekend.
