My my!! Your smile already looked close to perfect! Can't imagine that you're having this treatment ;) As Rosieee says, the guy who wouldn't want to date you because of the aligners is not worth your time! Your aligners seem to fit pretty well from here. Yes, I guess it's normal to see "bubbles" of saliva somehow, I know I do. It is not a perfect fit, there are small spaces that just can't be filled while your teeth are moving. Don't worry about that! We are all self-conscious about our smile at the beginning, wearing the aligners, but most people didn't even notice my aligners (even with buttons on front teeth). Don't worry so much! I'd say "concentrate on your future smile" but, hum, your smile already looks great so... ;)
Hot water has been suggested by my dentist if I had trouble getting my aligners on at the beginning. I don't think you should care too much about Anj's advice. Obviously don't put your aligners in boiling water, but hot water won't melt your aligners. If you have any doubts, ask your dentist, at the end of the day, HE is the specialist ;)

Sadly, it seems your ortho is the problem. I ALWAYS see my dentist when I'm handed new trays. He always checks how the teeth are moving, he checks if I need filing or not to help the teeth move, he tests the trays on before he lets me go. You should request to be seen by your ortho, not hygienists. They are NOT trained for that.

Has your dentist told you that you need to wear the final aligner after the treatment is done? at least at nights you do if you don't want your teeth shifting back.
I'm really sorry for you. It looks like your dentist is a greedy loser who did not have your best interest at heart. I've seen results obtained by my dentist's patients (in person) and it's really great. I'm on the 3rd trays right now and I can already see the change! It's really sad seeing stories like that, I'd go back see my dentist and show him pictures of Before, then ask him to correct the situation, that's for sure! What did your dentist say about the gaps after the procedure?
