Just came across your post and thought I could lend some support. 4 weeks is very early for tip definition, especially if the work was subtle in nature. That being said, if you have medium to thick skin, then a steroid injection can help. I usually wait at least 6-8 weeks before giving this treatment. Good luck
At 2 months it is too soon to be concerned. Also, anything that goes away with pressure is most certainly swelling. While you may have injured something when you hit your nose, if the nose did not bleed then you probably are OK. Sometimes taping the nose at night helps the skin to thin down. Usually you put a piece of gauzeor telfa (ask your surgeon for some) on the bump and then tape across it with mild pressure. After a few weeks you will see a change. Good luck

Bone cuts of osteotomies always create ridges at first. The bone edges then form a callus, which is a thick deposit of bone like material. Over time, this callus smoothes out and the ridges disappear. I would be patient. If you only had an open reduction, then there are not too many moving parts to worry about.
Seems like the silicone is extruding. This is a complication that is not uncommon when non-cartilage implants are used. Removing it would not be overly expensive. However, I might recommend having a cartilage graft from the ear placed at the same time. It won't be as dramatic as the silicone, but will give you a result that is somewhere in the middle. Just another option to consider. Good luck
I am very happy to hear that things have improved. In these situations, I like to point out a simple fact: Better is better until it's not better any more. Expect improvement in the appearance as well as the visibility of scars. 2 weeks is really early. I'll bet 6 months from now it will have improved tremendously. All the best, Dr. Westreich
