I had my Zoom! Treatment about 3 months ago now, and I JUST became able to use my Sonicare again! Zoom is a horrible product and my gums are ruined forever, unless I get a gum graft, which just sucks. I have not used the home Zoom bleach because my gums are healed now, but still a bit sensetive...yes, after almost 3 months..maybe longer. I can't remember when I had this treatment done, but it's been a long time and I look like I did before the treatment, and feel worse.

It has been 4 days since Zoom, and I have to change my review! My gums on top are black in one spot, and I swear some gum is missing, but I think it will heal just fine, so not too worried there. The color.....wow, just as fast as they became white, they went right back to being YELLOW, gross! They are better than before, but I will now be looking into something called "deep bleaching" which is hard to find, but apparently works on everybody, and every type of stain at a cost of $1500 and a 2 week treatment process, but I loved what I saw 2 days ago and I want it back, but for longer than 2 damn days. Overall, I paid $500 to have my teeth white for 2 days, and I'm kind of bummed at the whole thing.

Did your dentist tell you whether or not the at home trays will whiten more? I pick mine up next week when they are ready, and although I am VERY happy unlike many others, I am addicted to not having disgusting teeth, and would like them to get a bit whiter. I was just curious, but it doesn't really matter because I would do the procedure again in a second, and I would have paid $700 for the results.

Now that I assume the pain has went away, do you still think this was not worth it? I am on day 2 of recovery, and did not have the experience you did, although I can't say it was the most fun I've had, and it was not pain free by any means, but the result to me was worth twice the pain and twice the money. I laugh now without covering my mouth up, that's fairyly priceless to me, but to each his/her own I suppose.
Great review, and it sounds like your 4th session was just like mine. I think people don't unerstand that it does hurt a bit, and if you have sensitive teeth it may hurt a lot, but it's not the end of the world. Also, when you go from my shade, which I will call "disgusting yellow" to the new shade which I will call "holy crap white" then I find it hard to believe a little pain would make it not worth it. I have to admit, finding "white food" is hard and I don't know what I'm hungry for, but this is the end of day 2 and I am starving and can't eat anymore damn rice, so I'll have to find something else. Bottom line for readers out there: This is SO worth it, and some pain aside, if you hate smiling and never feel that "fresh from the dentist clean" due to yellow, nasty teeth then the pain is worth it, and in my opinion the price at $485 for me, is COMPLETELY worth it!
