Nita, love your results. The pics are great. I can see that you took them at home. I live in NJ and have been scanning the web for a doctor who does this procedure. Would you be so kind as to answer a few questions: what was the recovery like? Did you experience a lot of swelling and pain, bruising, drainage,etc.? How long did it take before you could go out in public without looking like you just had a facelift? Thank you for mentioning that your scars are barely visible. I was worried about that. Can Artefill be moved over about a fraction of an inch by massaging it? I just got my injection about a week ago and have been massaging it daily. Am upset that the doctor injected "above" the line instead of into the line! I need to move it over about a fraction of an inch. Will massaging it help? If so is there a specific technique to use?

I have seen photos on Dr. Victoria Falcone's site for smart lipo that are excellent. I recently went to her for a consultation and am mulling this procedure over. It will cost around $7,000 for the following: stomach, hips, flanks, bra fat, thighs, hips, and she said she would also a do around my inner knee. I thought that was a very good price for all that. I am mulling it over though. She said it would take 2 days. Some one day and some the next because it was too much to do all in one day. That was the problem for me. So I might ask her what exactly she can do in one day and just forget the rest. What i REALLY want done is my belly, hips, & thighs. the bra fat is minimal--barely noticeable unless my bra and shirt are too tight and I could give a hoot about a little fat on my inner knee, lol. It's the basketball belly I want gone, lol. So i'm still mulling. I'll repost if I wind up going through with it. All comments are welcome! :)

I feel for your situation. Since you mentioned NYC I have to share, that I found two doctors in the NJ area that are WONDERFUL. Dr. Eric Joseph in W.Orange is a silikon injection artist--very skilled with this product and also botox and with his skill can/will remove 10-15 years off your face with very little discomfort and cost. Mine cost under $1500. A doctor in Voorhees NJ is very skilled with a new type of lipo--smart lipo and can take what looks like at least 10-15 of bulge from your belly. It won't be that much ACTUAL WEIGHT, but the fat she can remove with her technique can make you look like you lost 15-20 lbs in that midsection. Her name is Dr. Victoria Falcone and her procedure will cost in the area of $5000-$6000 but will give you an excellent result. She also is very skilled. Both of these doctors have wonderful webpages displaying their before and after work. Do yourself a favor and check them out. I know that it is depressing to have already spent so much money and not had a good result and I wanted to share that these two doctors are very reputable and skilled and would certainly not be a waste of money if you were to consider surgery one more time. Check their websites. I know you will be impressed! I am not getting any money or referral perks for offering this information nor am I a personal friend or relative of theirs.

I haven't seen your before pic so I have nothing to compare it to but i do know this...women are so hard on themselves. I am hard on my self. I had some fat put into my cheeks and lips many years ago when it was a new thing--I would say 14 years ago--I looked like a blow fish for about 3 weeks. Once I resigned myself to it and prayed alot, and finally began to relax and hope for the best, most of it dissolved and what was left was really very nice! Moral...try to relax. Being upset makes the situation worse. Pray and ask God for faith that you can believe Him to change your smile back or at least correct it. Faith and Prayer help in every situation. Studies prove that! Once you relax and give it over to God, I honestly believe you will begin to see that it isn't as bad as you think or if it is, that it will now get better! Best wishes. :)
