Honey, there all very confident. I have yet to meet a Plastic Surgeon that is not. Ultimately this is your choice, and how confident "you are" with this doctor and his experience.
But do some research, post a question, read others posts. Your talking the difference between synthetic filler, verses own body fat.

Fillers are fairly new, long term affects are not totally clear. Most will absorb into system as fat does, but again, fat is natural part of you. I've read where these fillers are affective for under lid fullness, but upper lids to me, is a different deal, less tissue, delicate area, and shapes the eye formation.
I'd ask to see photos, speak to more than one or two former patience. If he gets an attitude regarding your request, move on. This is YOUR FACE !
Any good Surgeon should be able to relate to your concerns and fears.

Photo on profile was shortly after last revision. I did have before and after photos posted. I will neeed your personal e-mail to send. It has been over one year since last revision, and more fat will need to be applied,if I choose.As I've always stated, revision for upper lids is an on-going process,since only a small amount is retained permanently.

My suggestion. Do not use restylane on upper lids, fat transfer only. I know of no success or doctors willing to use this filler for upper lids. This is a very delicate area, so be careful of your choices.
