Yes, it takes time for tummy tuck patients to be completely back to normal (sometimes months). The pain and discomfort will improve with time but it will most likely take 1-2 months to feel completely better. Keep your good attitude and look to the future. You will be happy when summer comes along.
Breast Enhancement surgery, if performed for the right reason, is a very positive experience for the patient. It can improve your proportions and make you more confident. You are similar to the majority of patients who wish they went "a little bigger" after surgery. Enjoy!
Breast Augmentation surgery with breast implants placed under the muscle is "standard of care". You end up having a nicer result. Patients can have beautiful results with saline implants as well as silicone gel implants placed under the muscle. The time when silicone gel breast implants make the most difference is when the patient doesn't have much body fat or breast tissue. For those patients, they may feel the "rippling" of the saline breast implants.

When you are having such pain and the breast is extremely hard to the touch, it is best to go see your Plastic Surgeon as soon as possible. There is always pain and swelling with breast surgery but it is best to have your Plastic Surgeon examine you to make sure that it is not a hematoma.
The best way to know what size implant to use is for the patient to choose some pictures of what they want to achieve and have the surgeon adjust things in the operating room. I use temporary sizers in the operating room so that I can see exactly what size implant to use for the patient. There are other options about "overfilling" that I have discussed with my patients.
