I also have a nurse do my injections. When I started, I had a doctor inject. Not only did he charge more, he just wasn't as good. My nurse is excellent, careful, and of course, cheaper. When you think about it, nurses do most injections. Doctors examine you, diagnose you, and leave when it's time for the nurse to administer a shot!
I have the same problem. I had Juvederm in the tear troughs in 4/08, by a opthamalic plastic surgeon. It looked horrible - swollen and blue, so I had the hyalurondase injected several months later. I haven't had anything at all done since then, and I have baggy lower eyelids now, more on the left than right. It looks like I need a lower bleph. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done other than that. Does anyone know?
My injector asked me about supplements because some of them can cause excessive bleeding. I don't stop taking them, because I don't have bleeding or bruising with or without supplements and vitamins. I think bruising is about the injector's skill. Try someone else and you may have better results. I can't imagine having 2 weeks of bruising due to botox!!
