hi- Just read your post and was wondering what you mean by "no lashes?" I have very sparse lashes from years of abuse and have been using Latisse for about 12 weeks. I've noticed eyebrow "new growth" but have not noticed any NEW lashes appearing on my lids. I do however, see the length on the few danglers that I have left, increasing in length. I've read how Lattise won't grow new lashes but makes what you have thicker, longer and darker. I'm hoping there are exceptions to this. I have tried to get info from the docs. more than once and haven't gotten an answer to my specific question(regarding the possibility of new lashes being born, the matrix of the lash possibly being too damanged, my age-50, etc.) Thanks in advance for any info you can give me regarding your experience. I can't get my comments posted. Please let me know what's going on. I've been typing and trying to send only to get responses like - page moved- comment deleted- the name is being used by another registered user. ????????? Stella Nicole
Nipchick and Aphrodite,------------- I hope you are able to view this question. Apparantly, I don't "get" how to communicate on this site. I seem to be getting answers from questions other than mine LOL - its okay, though- the more info the better. In addition I'm having problems finding some of the past comments or links to track people with similar issues. Anyway......... I know the two of you started at least three weeks before me and was wondering if you see any results yet. It's been a little over a month now and I am still consistant with my Latisse use but haven't seen any results yet. The two of you must be getting close to that half-way eight week marker. Anything starting? Please let me know. My fingers are crossed. Thanks so much. Stella

Thank you Nipchick and Aphrodite, Both your messages are encouraging. I have another "odd" question. I, rather than having a dark line along my lash line, have a very, very slight raised lighter colored line along my lashes. I only see it when looking in my magnifying mirror. No pain or burning. Once again, I'm hoping it is because my new incredible lashes are "brewing" under the skin and are going to pop out soon. As you can tell I am so hurting for new lashes. I just turned fifty and I've ruined my natural ones through abuse of makeup, dyeing, perming, using lash-curlers-hot and reguar, fake lashes, etc. I've been much gentler in the last year or so, but the damage was done- or so it seemed until I heard about Latisse. At this point I don't want to bother with all those time consuming, damaging products or procedures but really want good lashes to frame my eyes. With some people mascara isn't a must, but I think my most important cosmetic thing is making my lashes look good. It makes a huge difference on me. The other areas aren't really a huge concern. Lashes make me look younger and much more awake. I'll really give this product a big, long chance before giving up on it. Nipchick, I did switch brushes, am applying less and have noticed a slow down in lash loss (along with total disappearance of the slight redness that was periodically on the whites of my eyes.) Aphrodite, I read on one of your past comments to someone else about latisse growing curly lashes. I would LOVE that! Mine are stick straight and sometimes dangle downward. I hadn't heard of or read that before. I totally get what you're saying about your brows, though. I have the same thing. I'm not going to touch my brows until I know that this works on my lashes, though. At my age, I can't afford to lose any more brow hairs. Thank you both for all the info. Stella
