Hi ~ If you click on the "face" above my user name, I think it will take you to my old review & photos...I need to update the photos, but you will be able to see my lumps!! I had a BIG one above & below my belly button on opposite sides of each other. They were rock hard & no, I didn't massage them because it hurt too much to touch! I was really worried about how numb I was, but that totally went away, too!! Hang in there!

Hi ~ I had SmartLipo on October 17, 2008. I can totally relate to the lumpiness, but want to assure you that it will get better! I am 43, 5'3" & started out at 132lbs in a size 27 -28 jean. I am now in a 27 jean with NOTHING hanging over the waist, HOORAY - my belly is FLAT! I currently weigh 127 without any dieting after the procedure - but, I've been just as careful about what I eat as before. I think my progress has been PHENOMENAL! I only have a tiny lump today & I am confident it will be gone in no time! So, HANG IN THERE ~ I wasn't even able to feel all my skin until a month ago & was concerned about that...but, now everything FEELS normal! I think it's an AMAZING procedure & it has changed my life!

I had the ENTIRE MUFFIN TOP worked on ~ I initially asked for just the lower abdomen but then on the day of the procedure the Dr. recommended he work on my "love handles" too! THANK GOODNESS because it has made a huge difference! I just found out he removed 1300cc. But, because all the work was done on my waist & I wear jeans that ride low, I haven't noticed a difference in the size of my jeans. I'm still in a 27, but they LOOK MUCH better! I will mention that I bought a knit dress recently & a size small is now loose...before, I would've never been able to wear it because it would've been tight in the mid-section even with wearing a girdle/Spanx! Hi & thanks for commenting! I'm seeing daily improvements & although it may look like it's "sagging" - it's actually the opposite ~ the skin around my belly button is so tight that I'm expecting it to relax into a more "normal" state! My Dr. has offered to do a laser skin treatment if & when I have any unhappiness with the texture of my skin, but for now I'm very pleased & am holding off until everything settles(2-4 months)! Good luck to you ~ for me it's been the BEST procedure & I couldn't be happier! PS: I would NEVER want to go back to the before photo - I was absolutely miserable in my clothes (& out!)!!!
