I was told I could shower 24 hours after the procedure, but to be extremely careful of getting any soap or shampoo on my face for the first couple of days. I assumed this was during the time I was doing the vinegar washes and still going through the healing process (where the skin is just practically falling off your face, not the most pleasant thing to try to imagine or see for that matter, lol!). I wore my glasses for the first couple of days, did not bother anything, but to tell you the truth, those days were spent in bed the majority of time anyway, I felt like a monster and tried to sleep off the anxiety. The hardest part for me was staying cooped up in the house. I just passed my 6 month mark and am still happy with the results. I have heard of claims of this procedure lasting for several years, do I believe them? I don't know, the procedure really has not been a round that long, so I guess we will have to wait and see. As you have probably seen from all the reviews on the board this procedure IS NOT for everyone, do your research, make sure you are a good candidate, go in with realistic expectations. I like my results and consider myself very lucky. Let me know if you have any other questions. Take care and good luck!!

I have to agree with the above post, I have had Fraxel Repair, and am happy with my results, but the third day I was still in the midst of recovery and questioned whether I made a good decision, you are still healing, red, and raw on the third day, I really don't think anyone could determine their level of satisfaction with this procedure on the third day. Just my opinion.
