Yes, I have 100% made my mind up, I am not going to have this done - not now anyway. It's obvious I wouldn't be able to hide it and just thinking about being awake through it all can send me in to a panic.If you had a really experienced surgeon & still had the experience you did, there's no hope for me with a GP! I will have another look on the other site, it was probably me rushing! I'll still be really interested to hear from you in a few weeks though to see how you're results are shaping up etc... Hi Efcaz, I think I've already made my mind up. There are far too many people saying the opposite of what the clinic/s say and I'm not good with pain. I thought it would be a procedure no-one would even be able to tell I'd had done (no-one knows I have booked it) but I don't think this will be so. The doctor is also just a general practicioner that does this on the side and when I asked he said he'd performed around a hundred! That's not much considdering is it! He was a nice enough man but it was all quite rushed and didn't seem the most professional of appointments....I think the alarm bells were already ringig for me then. I'm not overweight by any means and the reason no-one knows I'm doing (or was going to do) this is because people would think I'm insane and talk me out of it. I'm just going to have to carry on with the exercise and healthy eating. It's also a hell of a lot of money to waste and I was getting a deal because of the "credit crunch" my doctor said! I'm still going to have a look on that website (thanks) and possibly see if I can find anyone who knows of the doctor at all. I am in the UK- up North so look out for me on there. Thanks again. I'm so glad I found this site!
