I'm glad after years of suffering with scars your finally getting a break. My outcome wasn't as good as yours. Had a doctor who was "supposed" to be really good. He damaged my face so bad I don't go out. But I wanted to know what kind of laser your doctor used? I had restore dual 4x's. It's been 6 months & it's ok but i still need more because of the damage he did.

Is that the Fraxel Restore Dual?? If so I had it done 4x's for scars. Haven't seen much of an improvement 6 months out from my last one.

You were lucky you never went back. He was rude & never got on the phone or try to help with what he did.

Hey Stetson, The fraxel dual seem to help. I had 4 treatments & he said to wait for at least 3 or 4 months to go by to see changes. He is the only one i would let touch me with a laser. I think it would help with shallow scars. I also tried a tca peel at 10% & one at 20% that helped too. He's a sweetheart.. Since you only have shallow scars he'll tell you which is best for you. Mine were deep.

I got a refund too because i found out later he already had 6 malpractice suits against him. Took me a year of writing them telling them what i was going through & i was going to seek legal cousel. Finally, only after that remark he paid me back. Now i've spent thousands trying to get my face back & still need more to go. He was a board certified doctor. Their so nice when you go in but they turn into a nightmare if something goes wrong.
