I have my own DOT therapy scheduled for next Wednesday. I was wondering if anyone else had this procedure and if they were happy with the results? I have had a chemical peel done and dermabrasion around my chin area based on the doctors recommendation. I decided to take his advice and had them both done. The doctor somehow let some of the acid from the chemical peel into the open area where he had done the dermabrassion around my mouth, which left me with a burn. Once it healed, it looked as though I had been scratched from the bottom of my nose to the side of my face almost in the frown line area. The doctor decided it was best to cut the burn out to leave me with a fine line instead. After having that happen to me, it left me feeling even worse than before having the procedure done. I am hoping this DOT resurfacing will even my skin tone, soften my scar, reduce the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. I figure since my husband is five years younger, it surely can't hurt to improve my complextion. lol I am having this done without him knowing. He works in Afghanistan and will be home the end of Feb. I hope this will give me enough time to heal and to see if he notices an improvement on my skin! :) I will keep you updated. Sandra
