I just had two syringes-worth of Radiesse injected yesterday morning. I was originally very hesitant about trying Radiesse on my face, since I only had it used to fill up a dent in my nost in recent years. My problems "now" were the nasal folds running down from my nose to my mouth...and the corners of my mouth turned downward (as if I was perpetually frowning). I am 52 years old. Immediately after the treatment, I was amazed to see that my nasal folds were completely gone; I showed two friends the results within two hours of having the procedure and both were equally amazed. One had worried that my face might "puff up" unnaturally, but it hasn't. This morning, I have a slight bruise next to the one corner of my mouth, but it is easily covered with concealer. I worked yesterday afternoon and evening without any problems. I was prepared to tell my clients that I had some dental work done, but no one asked. For me, I am very satisfied with the results so far. One friend said when she had Radiesse injected in her face, she had a bit of an issue with itching for the first month or so along the injection sites. For me, nothing worth mentioning but the slight bruise. I seriously look 35 right now instead of 52. It truly is and has been a worthwhile experience.... Also had botox about a year ago to eliminate the vertical lines between my eyebrows; I thought "that" was a major miracle to correct; I can see now how that was just the "upper half" of the equation ;-)
