Mo-Mo, If you can find my review under Queen C, maybe some questions will be answered for you. By now, you should be in recovery (and hating it), but I've posted the experience from beginning to 20 weeks post-op. Today I'm almost 6 months post-op & there are not enough words to describe how happy I feel about myself now that I don't have rolls of skin from under my breasts to my pubis!!! It's flat & I feel so GOOD!
Thanks!!! I used Vit E/Cocoa butter as soon as the bandages came off (2-3 weeks) then started with ScarAway silicone strips as soon as there were no scabs left (3+ weeks). Yes, the strips are expensive BUT think about how much we spent on ourselves already!!!! It's a small amount of money to protect & improve our investment.
I had a puckered area in the middle of my incision for several weeks, however, the bleeding stopped within a week. I think this area has the most pressure on it & takes the longest to heal. Please let us know what the doctor says about it.
Nee', it sounds like you have a pre-surgery figure most of us would have paid for!!
Congratulations, Stay Young! I'm so happy you are on the 'other' side of surgery!! It just gets better from here on...... I only had one fluid pocket, just below my incision in the very center. I massaged it for about a week and it went away. Otherwise, my pubic area swelling is general and comes and goes. Try to massage to spread out the fluid, I guess? Let me know how you are doing? I'll go look to see if you have posted any pics.
