Sure, my provider is {edited} of Iowa City, IA. She careful and skilled and really takes her time with injections and asks for my feedback as she's doing it (I'm provided with a hand mirror).

Edited by Sharon: We've added your doctor's info to the review. Thanks!
I get a few random white bumps after every Restylane injection. My theory is that this is some of the restylane working it's way out of the skin. Sometimes the bumps will not appear until a few weeks after the injections. I have found that they are somewhat like an acne blemish, in that if you carefully squeeze it, the white part comes out, then it heals up nicely. I know y'all are thinking, you just had some zits. Believe me, I know my face and I know zits and these are not zits. They're Restylane bits!
Well, every new injectable claims it "lasts longer" than its predecessors. Since it's the same substance as Botox, I doubt it lasts longer. How long it lasts basically depends on how much you get.
My dermatologist said Dysport spreads and dissipates after injection more than Botox. She won't use it until they remedy this problem. So while it's not technically diluted, it has that effect as less of the substance goes directly where it's needed. Also, it's tendency to dissipate after injection increases the chance of unwanted side effects such as droopy eyelids.

Sorry you had such a bad experience. Ii is ironic your doc suggests looking at dangers of Tylenol, because, despite the public's familiarity with this pain reliever, it is one nasty poison, highly toxic to the liver, especially if combined with a drink or two. Fairly predictably, I get a minor headache shortly after a Botox injection. Otherwise, I've had good results.
