Saw another MD yesterday regarding this lump in front of my ear. He says that the lymph node is enlarged and did its job trying to prevent "something" from getting into my system.... scary to think this stuff can travel and your body has to fight it off.... just waiting for the cheek pain to go away.
I don't know of any support group; no one knows I did this, I was going to surprise my husband and I am the one that got surprised. I am hoping this clears itself first.
Had 2 injections 6 weeks apart, 2 weeks after the 2nd injection felt a lump in front of right ear, pain along both cheeks where the injections were. Ultrasound finds enlarged "lymph node". Questioned MD who did the Sculptra, does this stuff travel, cause pain, of course she says no, never heard of that, but this can't be coincidence. Am living with constant aching pain in face and would never do this again, MD wants to do 3rd set of injections, I told her no. Am mad at myself for spending all this money and having poor results, pain, and lumps. This product should be recalled.
