Please see my reply below -- It has been two years since I did my treatments (I had 6 treatments starting in March 2009). I loved my results right after treatment, but it turns out that's just because it takes a while to see the damage from the laser. I have an "orange peel" effect from the pricks of the laser, where I used to have perfectly smooth skin (my acne scars were only on my cheeks, but I stupidly had the laser done over my whole face). It really looks ghastly in the wrong light, and just in general my face looks like that of an older woman, where before if anything I looked young for my age.

Please don't do what I did. I used to be a very pretty girl -- in fact on the way to my first treatment, a guy stopped me in the street to tell me how beautiful he thought I was, and I thought to myself, "Maybe it's some kind of sign that I shouldn't mess with my face." But I told myself I was being silly and worried for no reason. I wish I had listened to my gut. Two years and $5,000 later, I hate to pass a mirror because I am horrified by what I see.

Kim, take a look t the the dates. My my treatments were in 2009, I am writing more than 2 years after my first treatment. As you can see, I was very happy with my results right after the procedures. However, I learned that my skin only looked smoother because it was inflamed. A couple of months after my last treatment (I had 6) I started to notice how damaged my skin really was.

If you've only had one treatment, PLEASE don't do anymore. I can't tell you how devastated I am that I did this to myself.
