I have had exactly the same problem also. I'm also very concerned but think waiting months before we could have a revision is very disheartening.

Thank you all for you responses. I have had the split removed and am actually more unhappy with my nose now. My nostrils are very exposed - a had a downward tip which covered my nostrils and I requested my tip to be reduced. I now have large exposed nostrils - they look very round and prominent and my nose has gone from a skinny/narrow nose to a flat wide nose. It seems he has pushed it back. I requested to see my surgeon again ASAP, however he has declined my offer and advised he only wants to see me after the standard time of 6 weeks. The nurse and the clinic keep saying it's the swelling, not to worry etc but even with the swelling my nose looks far too small and flat. They felt 'it looks nice' 'it looks like a normal nose' and ' people won't notice the change'. But it's a huge change and not s subtle enhancement like a wanted. They also said if I'm not happy with it in the long run - to give it a few months - that they can look at it for me. I'm distressed that I have to go back to work with a disfigured and dramitically changed nose. A few of you have also mentioned that if I trust my doctor i should wait - my consulation with him was very rushed and i was then assured that is how he deals with all his patients, but he is the best surgeon they have.
