How about the Eliminink on eyebrows? Heard anything there? I've put in a email get more info on Eliminink. If I hear anything back, I'll let everyone know.

I agree. It's permanent, uses ink, and uses the tattooing instruments... so it's a tattoo. Just because it's on the face to attempt to enhance beauty means nothing. It's still a tattoo. Also, I am still annoyed that many who give "permanent makeup" do not educate before hand the risks associated with it. Such as if something goes wrong and it needs to be removed, the ink is not the correct type (normally) for laser removal, and due to placement, it may never be able to be corrected. More education needs to be done all the way around.

To Butterflyheaven- did a little research, look into London Premier Laser Clinic, & Natural Contours, also check out the Smile Local online to see more. I'd advice making at least 3 appointments for consultations, seeing LOTS of pictures and finding out how much perm. makeup removal they normally do. Also, find out everything you can from the person who did your perm. makeup. Such as the brand on ink, type, etc... Good luck.

Odd. Odd how some days the eyebrows I had done seem so light, all of a sudden. Thank goodness though! I've been so tempted to get cammo over, just to TRY to get them lighter, and now I think I'll play the waiting game and let them fade more. (And YES, I know cammo is not a good idea, but sometimes your willing to try anything to help.) I had my eyebrows done about 3 years ago, and they faded from a dark blond to reddish. I had never really liked the shape my esthetician made them. Now, I've learned the art of hiding them with makeup, and had tried Nuviderm to lighten them more. Though Nuviderm helped slightly, it also cause some scarring on 1. This was while I was conservative with the peels! I stopped using it after I noticed the scarring. Now I baby my skin with moisturizures and mederma to try to get the scarring to a minimum (After all! It is on my face.) This past 2 months I have really notived them fading, and I think I'll wait to see what else happens. Hoping that in another year they won't be noticeable with minimal makeup. Maybe in a few years I'll be able to go swimming or just take a day off from makeup without feeling weird. Good luck to everyone out there hoping for a miracle to correct the mistakes made.

I've heard that some estheticians that correct permanent makeup mistakes use an enzyme, but wasn't able to get any more information about it. Haven't found anything on the internet either. Anyone know about this? Is it the "solution" that Storm was referring to? I've been using Nuviderm to try to fade, and it's worked minimally. Just enough that it's easier to cover with makeup, but not enough that I feel I can go without makeup. Also, I've started to have some skin thickening on one side, though I've been very careful to keep the solutions mild. It's all a risk! Wish I'd never had my eyebrows done, but from what I've read, I've been lucky with my results. Thanks!
