My injection was in the naso/labial folds. I didn't notice any swelling. I did bruise along the n/l fold on my right cheek. I went right back to work and was told a few times I had "something" on my face. The Doctor, whom I trust completely, did the injections while the rep watched. The rep looked fantastic and let me feel the n/l sites where she'd been injected. I didn't detect any lumps. She said that the product will show up on a CAT scan and should last at least a year to 18 months. I would imagine that the skin around your eyes would be more delicate and you might want to factor that into your decision to take some time off, if you're able. People are amazed when I tell them I'm 62. Gonna get my hands done next time :-)

The rep for Radiesse visited my doctor's office on Friday, October 24,2008. I was the second person injected. There was lidocaine in the syringe, so the discomfort was minimal. I'm very pleased with the results. No lumps as mentioned in other posts to this site. This was kind of a "product demonstration" so there was no charge. I did give the Doc a nice bottle of wine to thank him.
