Hi "The Me",
Hopefully your treating physician has informed you of the risk and complications of the treatment. Asian skin is more prone to PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation), though it occurs in only a very small percentage of Asians having the treatment. Avoid the sun while using physical sunblock. Good luck and be well.

Hi Kerrig,
I can only speak for my experience in my practice as "Fraxel repair" is not a commodity that is the same in every practice. My patients who were treated up to 5 years ago still have amazing skin. Make sure that you choose your treating physician most carefully. Good luck and be well.

The cost of Fraxel repair varies depending upon the areas treated and the condition treated. Fraxel repair is an excellent treatment for acne scars. Multiple treatments are usually required for optimal results for acne scars. Our cost is around $3K for the first treatment, and about half that for subsequent treatments. Do choose your treating physician most carefully. Good luck and be well.

We have had great success using Fraxel repair laser for acne scars. Multiple treatment sessions may be needed for optimal results. Good luck and be well.
