Btw, as for being happy. I am really not. I think my old nose was way better. Not perfect but at least it was straight and not dented. I just wish I would have researched the surgery more and gone for the best doctor after I researched, rather than just the first one who came around. However, I thought my problem was so minor that I didn't need that much done. However, surgery is always a big deal. I beat myself up everyday for not researching more.
Hey hun. Sorry about your experience. I know how hard it is. Try to look on the bright side, that worst case scenario, it is not something that can't be fixed. However, if you end up being unhappy with the results, I would not go for the same surgeon. It has to be somebody who specializes in revisions and has a ton of experience. Maybe you might end up being ok though. There is still hope. For me, I still have regrets every single day. I cry at least once a month. All my problems become secondary to my nose. Whenever something bad happens I start to think that my nose makes the problem even worse. My 21st birthday was spent in misery rather than having fun. However, being over a year post op, I have found that my nose has gotten much better almost morphing back to my old nose. However, I have been left with assymetry and a dent and a tip that is too short. it sucks but it could be a lot worse and at least it looks way better than it did immediately post op. I've consulted with a few doctors and I am in he process of choosing. Of course, money is an issue and there is always fear. On the bright side, I have still had lots of dates after this operation and taken some nice pics so it was not as bad as I thought immediately post op. Hope you feel better and I am here if you need a friend. Maybe we can exhange emails. I know how hard it is to talk about this with people who have no idea
By mid July, it was mostly gone. I had a closed in March. Now, it still feels stiff sometimes, but for the most part, my tip feels like it did pre-op...
It will go down some.

I feel as if I could have written the above comment. Today, I found out that my doctor is not even a certified cosmetic surgeon. He is an ENT and qualified to do head and neck surgery. My nose feels terrible in addition to not looking as great. As you said, the results are not bad or drastic, but my old nose was still much better and it is now a bit crooked. This doctor has offered to give me my money back, but he wants me to sign all these legal papers. Still, I am going to have to pay and go through another surgery if I decide to get a revision in the future. Not only that, this jerk doctor was paid by the insurance for the medical aspect of my procedure.
