Hello, Lorily. I submitted some pictures of my arms. My arms went down by 2 inches. I'm still happy with them and exercising to get a better shape. Good luck with your surgery!

Hello, cheesecake123. Do not worry about your arms!!! It will just take time, more time, as I said, than any other parts of your body. Mine are totally healed now, and 2 inches smaller each. Just have some patience:)

Well, with the arms it is a different story:) I do not regret doing them, but it's taking much longer to recover. It has been 20 days since the surgery, and I'm still swollen. I had my post op appointment on last Friday, and the doctor said (and he did say it earlier as well) that the arms take much longer to recover than other parts of the body. He said that it takes up to two months to recover for the arms, after looking at mines, he said that it is pretty normal, and that my arms have not started to build collagen yet. Even though they are still swollen, I still can see the difference. I was able to fit in my old clothes where I was not even able to get my arms inside. There is no garment to wear for the arms at all. The procedure takes about the same amount of time - around 2.5 hours. It might seem as a smaller area, but in deed, it is as big as a stomach area. The pain after the surgery was mild, and it didn't bruise much after the surgery either. I was able to go to the gym one week after the surgery. Lifting the arms was a bit uncomfortable though, it was also no fun to sleep on your arm:) The arms are swollen around the elbow area and where the incisions are. The drainage timing is much longer as compare to my thighs. The incision would close up very quickly, but then under fluid pressure that accumulates inside, it would open up. Couple of days after the surgery, my incisions were already closed then I was taking a shower and I started dripping for the shower pressure caused it to open up. I would say that my incisions closed completely after 2 weeks from the surgery day. I also would force them to open just to get rid of the fluid inside. As of now, I wish that my incisions were still open because I can feel the fluid inside my arms (especially right arm) and I would love to squeeze it out :) My doctor advised to do a lymphatic massage, which I did on Saturday. I'm not sure if it helped much, but it felt very nice and I will do several more sessions before I leave for my vacation. I'm very hopeful that my swelling gets down by the time I go on vacation. I will have to wear summer clothes and want my arms to look better :) One more time, even if I had known that it takes longer to recover, I would still have done my arms. There is no way I would achieve the same results through even heavy triceps exercise.

Hello, Tanya. I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Helps with what? Does Smart Lipo reduce cellulite? I don't know, but mine seems to be a bit better. As it said, it might improve the appearance of the cellulite due to tightening skin during the procedure. I've doing LPG massage for cellulite as well. Why are you considering doing the surgery in South America? Is it cheaper in there?

The only advice would be to respect your body and treat it in the same manner :) Eat healthy and exercise regularly. Good luck to you!
