Stasia,

I had it done a couple of years ago, it was very painful, swelling, burning etc. It takes quite awhile for it to completely go away. Each day it will get better. Keep the compression garment on as best you can that decreases the swelling and Use ice packs. God Bless!
Hi sazz, I had smart lipo done on my inner and outer thighs originally about 2 yrs ago. I do not want to deter you but looking back at what I went through (the pain and the recoveries) I would never have done it.

I had it redone 3 times and then they did a cutting of the skin surgery which I now have a scar. I was not even heavy but I thought it would make my legs look better. My doctor was and is awesome and he fixed them until I was content at no extra cost. If I could go back I would never have done it.
Hi star gazer, It all depends, Keep the garment on tight and it reduces the swelling. I also used ice packs.
jls0577 so sorry to hear of all your complications. i have written some woes of my own. i did feel that this procedure was alot more than i expected it to be. one great thing is that my dr. is very positive with my results even though i dont feel it yet. and even though i have some issues he says he will fix everything if it doesnt get to the way it is suppose to. i had my procedure done 3/19 and i still have soreness, numbness, and my outer thighs still look flabbier and lumpy but by the end of the summer he will make the adjustments if need.
