Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience with it. It sounds, however, like your negative experience is more a result of your specific doctor and lack of "proper" patient care and follow-up RATHER than because of the procedure itself, in general. I think that just like with anything, esepcially with plastic surgery, the results a person gets are highly dependant on the doctor doing the procedure. I wish you the best in your continued healing, and hope that you can find a better qualified or at least more skilled surgeon in the future, if you decide to get anything else done.

Hey JenMO, Glad to hear that things are going well for you so far! From what I've heard, the lower abs area always one of the last places for swelling to go down...It may take a few weeks still before that area really starts to flatten out more, since gravity is going to be working its "magic" in the meantime, pulling all your swelling down there. Just try to start massaging the areas you had treated, starting about 2 weeks post-op, and that should help the swelling AND the overall results! Take care, and keep us posted, hun!~

Hey Amy Joy, I'm not really that young at all...I'm 23!!! LOL. I finished teacher's college last year, for heaven's sake! Haha. If I am certified to teach teenagers, you'd THINK that that would mean I am old enough to make decent decisions. Haha. Apparently, some people think you need to be in your 40s with swarms of kids to warrant getting it done. Hehe...Oh well. And actually, I was working in Japan this year, though I DID study here for a year of my undergrad in a uni near Osaka a few years ago. Japan is great!! I think it runs in my veins somehow. ;) Yep, I'm on facebook. Is there a place on this site that you can private message me so I can get your info and add it to my friends list?
