“Juvederm: The Look of Full Lips is Really Starting to Grow on Me”
Worth It
Spent: $650 in Toronto, Canada
I’d never used any products on my lips before but decided to try Juvederm when it was recommended to me. I found a very experienced doctor here in Canada, which is important because I didn’t want lumpy lips!
There are two types of Juvederm here in Canada and I’ve tried them both. There’s J30 and also 24HV, which stands for high viscosity (“Just like motor oil!” my hubby says). In my experience, the 24HV has lasted longer and that is the one I ask for now. I’ve never had any issues aside from the initial pain, swelling and bruising but can’t stress enough how important it is to find a plastic surgeon that has experience with Juvederm. There were a few days in the beginning where I walked around with larger-than-expected lips, but this swelling soon faded into the look I have - and like - now.
I’m so pleased with my doctor and with the product. The results have lasted over three months each time, although I go for the occasional top-up when there’s still quite a bit left in my lips. I’ve had no lumps and the Juvederm has lasted awhile, especially compared to other types of lip injections out there (from what I’ve heard). I’m also really glad my lips don’t feel hard to the touch; in fact, they don’t feel different at all (my husband can attest to that!), they just look different. The look of full lips is really starting to grow on me.
So far so good for me, and I have nothing but great things to say about this product!
