that sounds like good advise, i need to have another word with my surgeon,ans make sure he doesn't get too aggresive with taking the skin out. I spoke to a patient who had the tt done with the same surgeon that im using and she advised me she couldn't walk for 6 weeks.Six monthes on,and her stomach is still numb!!! I was petrified after hearing that and decided to canx!Anyone pls advise.

wow that's definatley put my mind at ease!I only hope mine will be as pain free. im due to have the same op end of march,and was really apprehensive up until i read this blog. My main concern is looking after my 7 month boy,and 22 month daughter, i also have an 8 yr old daughter,but she's self sufficient.If anyone else has any other re-assuring advise pls keep me posted.No horror stories please!
