I've had dermabrasion, and I would say that my experience seemed to reveal more of an intense exfoliation than anything else.  Mine started with an AHA application, which probably intensified the effects.  If you're looking for something to help reduce the wrinkles, I'd suggest a laser.  You don't have to go CO2 to get results now.  There are other lasers now that don't cause wounds or a lot of downtime.  I had fraxel done a couple of years ago, and I liked the results.  In fact, I'm thinking of starting another round, but this time with the same technology but a little different type of fractional laser.  Do a search on this, and you'll find lots of info.  I'd love to find more personal experience with this, but I haven't seen much online.
