hang in there...I do promise, they will go down. I cried, cried, and cried more thinking my boobs would be the first thing people saw when I approached them and I was going to have them removed. Through the help and advice from friends, people I met on this site, and some teriffic doctors on this site, I opted to wait it out. It took a couple of months and it has now been 8....they will continue to settle. :) good luck...I hated my decision at first too.
I know with the 200 cc my doctor informed me I was getting less than 1 cup size difference. I have had 'them' for 8 months and they are really good. It took months for the swelling to go down but I had a lift done 2 weeks after the implant and that extended the healing time. I am at peace now but sure felt huge for a while. good luck!!

hi rachel- Both of mine were the same tightness. Perhaps one was just a bit more irritated than the other. (?) I am now 2 months out and the swelling is now mostly gone. Hopefully you will have a follow-up with your surgeon soon. Do you like them??? I am starting to get used to mine now. Good luck!
kcchick 14 posts 12 Aug 2009Hi! I had a breast implant of 200 cc put in mid-June and a lift added on June 30th. My original plan was to have both but my doctor felt an implant would give me what I was wanting. It wasn't, as what I really wanted was a lift. If I could go back now...I would have only done a lift. I had "decent" size "B" but had some skin sagging due to age...I'm 46. At your age, I would really, really be sure it is something you want to do and find a very good surgeon in your area, I found mine through recommendations and she is located in a plastic surgery center in our town. Please research...look at photos on line...search your soul....and talk to people. I hope you make a decision you are happy with. Good luck and God Bless! reply
