That was a great reply Traci. "Sick of Being Used", have you spoken to your SIL about this? Have you told her to stop talking soooooo much about her products and what people are saying about her? I am sorry you are having such issues with all of the "direct sales ladies" in your life as well. I do not use Arbonne but I am one of those "direct sales ladies". I try never to bug people or harass them. I love the products I sell and I love to educate people about them but I always try to never overdue when someone is not interested. I must say that direct sales IS a great way to make extra money. I do not see that all direct sales people are trying to take advantage of others nor do I think that is your SIL's intention. I think it is more of the fact that maybe your SIL is trying to open your eyes to SEE what she SEES, which is to use a great product and get paid for it. Try looking at it from her eyes. She must love her product...that is a given or she would not be selling it...right? Add in the fact that she is getting paid to use her products and to recommend them to others knowing that those products may help them to look great. In her eyes, she is trying to help people to feel good about themselves and to help them make some extra money too. Unfortunatly, she is missing the fact that not all people can SEE what she SEES. I do feel that over the counter products are not the same. I have used expensive over the counter products and have not gotten the same results that I have gotten using a higher quality product. Of course, that does not mean that you will not find a high quality product that is over the counter, it is just my opinion that to find one you will be paying alot more money than you would if you bought it through a direct sales person. Good luck with your SIL!!

Hello everyone, This post has made for quite interesting reading. Instead of the "Anybody trying Arbonne" post, it should be called the "Bashing Arbonne/pimping your mlm company" post. HeeHee, sorry, I couldn't resist. I am not going to bash Arbonne. As of 2 years ago, I had never even heard of Arbonne, and now they are everywhere. I have to give those reps credit, they have been working hard. I heard about them when my sister came home from a vacation in Utah (we live in MA) and said that a lady approached her while in Utah and said she would like to expand her Arbonne business in the Boston area and asked my sister if she would be interested in being a rep. Then my sister came home and asked me if I would be interested in doing that. I said "No, thank you." I love the products I use (I had been using my products for 5 years with great results at the time she asked). I told my sister if I could sell the products that I have been using & have loved for many years, then maybe I would think about it. Fast forward to one year ago......I got news that the products I was using is now upgraded and sold via an MLM format and they asked me if I wanted to join the company being that I was a long time customer. YIKES, I was scared but ready for a change in my life...so here I now am pimping my company too. Oh shameful me! I am an independent consultant for a new company with a targeted skin care line (including mineral make up)and a nutritional line that is the cutting edge of science and nature with some great, respected co-founders heading our company. It is not for the O' Naturale people though...sorry. Our skin care line is nature based but we do add what science proves to be effective in improving the skin. Also, our website lists all ingredients...no hiding them and each product has a descriptive video explaining it by one of our celebrity co-founders. If you are curious, send me a messege. I would be happy to share with you. Thank you!
